Really? You suffered the smack tawk from Red Sox fans for FIVE WHOLE YEARS? Poor baby.

Dude, we Red Sox fans put up with DECADES of crap from you entitled, spoiled, obnoxious blowhards.

If you can't take 5 years you need to man up and grow a pair.

Yanks deserved it this year, even if I don't like the fact they paid $200 Million to do it. They put the best team on the field. But honestly--calling out Boston fans now is unbelievable weak.

Act like you've been there before. That's what the really great ones do. Ask Jeter.

Only 3 times in the past 30 years has a MLB team with a $100 million payroll won the World Series. There have been 20 different champions in Major League Baseball during that time, including twice each by the dirt-poor Twins and Marlins. In the other major US team sports there have been: 14 different Super Bowl winning, 13 different Stanley Cup winning, and 9 different NBA Championship winning teams, respectively. The NBA has had a salary cap longest of these leagues, 10 years before any other league.

thanks for the info. I'm not proud of my abrasive post. I should have said that for years Steinbrenner has been buying more expensive players than other owners have. It is not sitting well with many baseball fans, including many New Yorkers and ex-New Yorkers.
